Photo buyers purchase the right to use an image for a set purpose for a certain period of time. Each use is separately negotiated and agreed to before an image may be used. Granted use rights are spelled out in a one page Licensing Agreement. If you would like a sample, just let me know.
Fees are based on the intended use and industry standards. Once you provide me with details of your project, I will quote you a fee. Relevant information may include the type of publication (book, magazine, web site), placement (cover or inside), size, distribution area, press run quantity, time period for which rights are required, and your budget. Since you will deal directly with me, I can offer a great deal of fee flexibility.
My photographs may not be copied and/or displayed on any web site, whether educational, non-profit, or personal without a Licensing Agreement. Please contact me if you want to use one of my photos on your site.
